The Selfish Truth, With A Call To Unite

In America there are two different mind sets that determine how people think in regards to politics. The first one being simple every action that you commit has a consequence, this begs for the question, why do the action if the consequence is not beneficial? The other way of thinking goes as follows, do what you want and try your best to do away with what ever consequences may occur because you should be free to do what ever you want. It is the latter mind set that pushes abstinence out of schools when there are so many reasons why abstinence is a very beneficial action to take.

HIV testing is getting very popular among doctors and regular people. Now they are recommending that people as early as 13 start getting tested for HIV. This means a lot of things that we partially knew but maybe chose to ignore. It means that children at the age of 13 are having sex and/or experimenting with drugs and putting themselves at risk of getting the disease. This problem could be greatly helped by teaching our students in middle school in a different way. As far as drugs go schools have done a fairly good job of teaching children that drugs are not a good choice. On the other hand they teach them that they have a right to have sex and that makes teens think they are entitled to this as well as many other pleasures in life. I would be more in favor of teaching about pleasuring ones self before advocating sex with each other. Even though they are both most likely accepted in the schools sex education classes, at least that certain way they are not spreading disease everywhere. In no way do I think that it is an answer but as with most things having to do with politics and political issues you have to choose the lesser of the two evils , and I wish it were different!

This takes us on a very long journey into the minds of the liberal far left agenda. And it also reveals the selfishness of liberals. One underlying fact that nobody seems to take into account is that liberals are the most selfish people out there. Here is an example: Abortion , they never take the babies life into account they only take the pity on the mothers life and if it is going to make the life of the mother harder than they would say kill the baby. To combat that some would say that the baby would not get enough love or it would not have a good home and that is only justification for an abortion on the part of the mother and most likely an opinion skewed by an organization and or family member in favor of abortion. Some might say but the liberals only want to help people for example giving more money to the poor and raising taxes on the rich or providing universal health care. But that to stems from a selfish attitude, here are two reasons that they subconsciously convince themselves of their actions. We cannot put more money into the rich peoples pocket because they do not need it and therefore it is unfair to the poor people. And it is very important that everyone is equal and they get what everyone else has even if they do not deserve it. So how does that make them selfish? Because they pander to people that are in the lower class to get support from them and those people buy into it because they can get something from them. So all they want is support for their ideals and the power to push those ideals and these tactics have been used by governments for many years now. The latest example was the Venezuelan president pandering to lower class Americans so he can garner support from poor people and we all know that he wasn't going to give discounted gas to any middle class people that will need it just as much come winter.

Another example of the liberal selfish attitude is a new proposition in Arizona in regards to smoking. Prop. 206 bans smoking in public places and makes it a crime for a person to bring his/her child into a place where people smoke. So some might be asking how is this the same as tax cuts or universal health care? It is the same in regards to the fact that the liberals feel that if a small group of people are uncomfortable then everyone must be equally uncomfortable. So in other words if I work and I can afford health care then the people that don't work should get health care because I have it and that intern makes us equal.

But equality is not and was not supposed to be like that. Equality in America is not the same as equality in Venezuela or the old Soviet Union. Everyone is equal we all equally have the ability to get as far as we want in life. In other words I can get to be the owner of a major corporation and make tons of money in the same way that the person sitting next to me on the bus can. And I know that the people on the other side of this opinion will say that race, sex, size and religion hold people back and that is true in some situations and I pray every day that this problem will go away. But there are plenty of people that have broken through that because they did not dwell on the fact that they could be held back and fought their way up to the top because we live in America and they realized that.

I believe with my heart that if anybody works hard enough they can get anywhere they want. I also believe that I shouldn't hate anyone for any reason. But I do think that I can strongly dislike someone's ideas and not hate them personally. Sometimes I find myself thinking back to the day's after 9/11 and I remember how it felt for every American to be on a slightly even playing field. The people with money the people without, the people on the east coast the people on the west coast, and Democrats and Republicans. At the time I believe that brought about my first political revelation. I knew that it would not last long (as did many). I knew that with time we all would slowly break our bonds with our fellow man and become divided. Five years later I see that we are more divided than ever before. You might feel the need to blame people like me who have opinions about the other side that state opposition of them, but I don't think that is viable, our country is based on the idea that people should have their own opinion. You cannot place the blame on anyone specific, you have to blame everyone for it. People have started mixing up a persons ideals with the actual person. If we don't start getting along then something bad will happen. Getting along doesn't mean agreeing on everything but finding out what you do agree on and building on it because we need to unite as Americans. This is a statement to all of the people that I have called stupid or idiotic please don't make the mistake of it being aimed at you but aimed at your ideals.

The biggest mistake we could make would be to underestimate our enemy. In my mind the leftists and the democrats are not the enemy they are the competition, the true enemies are the guys that want to kill us. And don't think for a second that our enemies don't know what divide and conquer is.
