World Trade Center

I went to see World Trade Center last night. I was not hit as emotionally as I thought that I would be. Maybe it was the slight hint of laughter in the film maybe it was the strong effect of a not politically charged film and the fact that I was trying to hard to read into it because of the directors track record. The film was very good but there could have been things done better. Here is what I know about the movie before I give my opinion. I know that they were coming from the position of the police and the families and I know that they were trying to not make it hit incredibly hard on the audience because it would be devistation on people that actually whitnessed it. But at the same time it needs to hit hard enough to remind the people that these people are still out there and that they need to be stopped. And if this movie doesn't give everyone a wake up call then maybe the news of the 21 people arrested trying to blow up planes over the U.S. will!
